Can I Play on More Than One Team

Currently, TCFA has a rule in place that does not allow players who have signed an official roster with another team to participate in league.  We do allow a player from one TCFA team to play as a pick up player in a tournament with another TCFA team if their team is not participating in the same tournament.

 b)     Players who have signed an official USSSA roster (or other softball organization at a level higher than C or recreational) with another team, regardless of the level of play, are not eligible to play with TCFA.

Players registered to play with TCFA and then play on a non-TCFA team in tournaments would clearly break the rule. A player may participate in tournaments with other TCFA registered teams and not break the rule.

The intent of this rule is to allow girls in the community the opportunity to play a game they enjoy even if they do not have the opportunity to play on a tournament or select team. Most of the girls who play with TCFA are doing so for the fun of the game and we do not want to reduce their playing time to give tournament players additional playing time.

We will be monitoring rosters this season to avoid any conflicts.
